System settings
Settings overview
What's in System Settings and which settings belong to a Brand or the whole installation.
System Setting, at the bottom of the sidebar, opens a directory of every settings area. Type in the search box to find one quickly. You only see the areas your role gives you access to.
Settings areas

Installed addons can add their own cards here, such as SMTP - Pro for email.
Brand and installation-wide settings
Most settings belong to the Brand you're working in: switch Brands and you'll see that Brand's values. Settings marked Installation-wide are the same for every Brand, so changing them affects the whole installation.
If your installation has only one Brand, you don't need to think about the difference.
